Grandmama's Birthday

The poor lamb :(

When we said it was a bbq party, we kinda meant that we were gonna hire people to barbeque, while we partied.

Yummy pancake-things.

Can you spot the butterfly on Maddy's face?
The kiddos went for a kids play/workshop that afternoon..
they got their faces painted, and refused to wash it off after.
My cousin was telling us what happened during the kiddos' workshop. This annoying little girl shoved Lucas to get to the slide, so my cousin grabbed her by the arm and yanked her aside and scolded her. Instead of feeling bad for that little girl, everyone was saying, "Good on you! She deserved a spanking!" and I thought to myself.. "That's where I get it.. all the bitchiness." My eldest cousin even said "Wah, if Maddy were to get bullied by anyone.. The person will get hell from me" Honestly, I think parents should really discipline their kids. Some parents leave these animals roaming playgrounds unattended. It's ok if these monsters get hurt, in fact, I'd be godamned happy if they did, but other kids should not be put at risk of getting injured. A lot of Singaporeans don't discipline their kids enough. I remember having dinner with Jason at Ikea and this monkey of a boy was jumping up and down, yelling at the top of his lungs "1 2 3 4 5 6.." non-stop. Dude, it's cool that you know how to count, but keep it to yourself. I glared at him and then went "SHH!" then he finally stopped and went to hide somewhere. What is wrong with parents these days? Can't you see your kid is misbehaving?! SCOLD LA! Another incident at j8, this little Indian girl was whining and crying and her mom just kept walking like she couldn't hear those annoying high-pitched shrieks. ASK YOUR KID TO SHUT HER MOUTH LA. Seriously.. Singaporeans are the most uncourteous people I have met.. so much so we need a freaking courtesy campaign! It's a disgrace.

How sweet does she look?

Lucas' new goal in life is to be superman.

Finally, it was time to cut the birthday cake.
The kiddos had to steal grandma's limelight.

Look at my greedy nephew stealing cake

More cake-stealing.

  1. The pancake thingy, how cool! I love those pancakes, yummy to the max! It's one of the bbq people too?

I totally agree with you on the kids issue. Seriously, kids these days really need a good spanking! There was once I was dining at Ajisen and this kid was singing at the top of his voice and banging the table, but the parents simply don't care and instead praised their son for being so cute and clever! Wth?! That's so not cute but annoying! And when I stared at them in annoyance, they stared back at me angrily. I mean I don't expect you to smack him on the spot, but at least scold or shut him up la.

  2. Nope! We hired him separately ! :)

I WOULD'VE TOLD THEM OFF! The worst kind of parents are those who let their kids bang on their plates with cutlery! Last that happened, I said very loudly "OMG, control your child, damnit!" I think they got it.. they took him outside. LOL
