Korean Cosmetic Find - 3 Step Pig Nose Pack

I've been blessed with good skin all my life but as I'm getting older, I've realised that my skin just isn't what it used to be. My pores, for one, have been a lot more obvious. As your skin ages, it produces less collagen, the substance that plumps and supports younger skin. Without collagen's firming effects, pores lose elasticity and become dilated. Collagen is further diminished, and pores enlarged, by sun exposure. Singapore is mostly sunny, how to avoid sun!?

So when I stumbled upon this Korean cosmetic site I got super excited. I always see Korean actresses with their perfect skin and feel super jealous! At first I was a bit skeptical about the site. Everything was relatively cheap and they offer free international shipping over $50! But I was desperate so I ordered the minimum amount.
A week later!
This arrived!
So pretty with the pink box and tissue! All the products were individually wrapped in bubble wrap but I took them off for the photo.

So I decided to test out the item which had the best reviews -  3 Step Pig Nose Pack

Everything is in Korean but it's easy to follow.

Step 1 - put on the Pore Heating Sheet for 15minutes.
The pore heating sheet smells really good! I really liked it! It also has a tingly feeling when applied, so I guess it was working!

Waiting 15mins..

Step 2 - Rinse with luke warm water and apply the Blackhead Clear Sheet
The sheet is similar to Biore's pore pack but it's a lot harder and extracts a lot better

Step 3 - Apply Pore Tightening Sheet for 5 mins
They say to pat in the excess after liquid after time's up but I felt like it was too sticky to leave on my face so I rinsed it off.

So moment of truth..
Did it work??

YES.

OMG my skin is so much smoother now and the pores are visibly lesser.

Here are my before pictures :
EW damn gross

And after :

Really quite a big difference right!?

Totally gonna order it again when I run out!

HOWEVER,
I did more research and realised that they use PIG collagen in this product so it may not be suitable for everyone.

The site I got all these from is http://sg.althea.kr
and they give you $10 for new sign up!
No, I'm not being sponsored,
but if you're the owners of Althea, I LIKE FREE STUFF! & I'll happily review your products cause I'm a cosmetic junkie!

Can't wait to test out the rest of the products!
Will update again soon!
That's my happy face after!

Bye 2015, Hello 2016

2015 has been an amazing year and I'm kind of sad to see it go. I think it may go down in history as one of the best years of my life. I had the wedding I've always dreamed of, took a honeymoon of a lifetime, made new friends and forged stronger friendships with old friends.

2016 is going to be a scary year for me so I'm spending the last day of 2015 in a lot of anxiety and anticipation. 2016 is a year of change - Jason's taking up new roles in his career, finally moving into our new house and having to face my biggest fear of all (I know so cryptic, but I'm not ready to talk about it with the rest of the world).

2016 also means getting another year older. Not just me, but my parents too, and that scares me. It's not easy imagining a life without them one day.

So while the rest of the world looks forward to a new year, I'm wishing time could stand still for a moment, that we could stay if only a little bit longer in the comforts of 2015.

But hey, don't let me get you down!
Happy New Year everyone.

Solemnization

Gonna let the photos speak for themselves.

It was my favourite part of the day.

I was super nervous before the ceremony started but seeing Jason standing there at the end of the aisle calmed me down a whole lot. :)
