Tokyo Day 7

Our final day in Tokyo. We woke up bright and early to pack and head down for our last dipping noodles.
OMG I miss it already!
After lunch, I spent more time in the camera store and finally decided to get me a lensbaby!
Then we headed back to the hotel with the intention of spending some time in the convenience store but we were so tired, we decided to hop onto the earlier bus shuttle to the airport. We had booked the 130pm shuttle but we had nothing to do so we decided to board the one an hour earlier. Thank goodness though. There was a huge jam and we ended up getting to the airport only at 230pm.

We went crazy at the airport shops, buying snacks for everyone. We had 3 large bags stuffed full of goodies.

After a while we got bored so we stopped at a sushi place for some sushi. The fish were from Tsujiki Market. OMG so good. I had the best crab sushi ever. It was sooooooo fresh, you could taste the ocean. I had 3 pieces, would've had a whole lot more if they weren't $6 a piece!

So that concludes my Tokyo trip!
The day was so busy rushing to buy last minute souvenirs so hardly had time for photos!

:)

In all, a really good trip.
Got to catch up with some old church friends who coincidently were staying in the same hotel and the same floor!

Ok!
Bye

Tokyo Day 6

We decided to take a trip to Ginza to get some food my ma liked and also to have lunch at the yummy tempura place we ate at during our previous trip.
It was our 6th day of non-stop walking so our feet ached like mad.
Thankfully, next to the food store we were intending to go to, was a massage place!

Itoya - Japan's famous stationery store.

We wandered into a toy shop! And found this really cool keychain-maker! :)
We found a Japanese dessert place

Jelly at $5 a piece! But so so cute!
Then it was back to Shinjuku where we had dinner at a sushi bar! omg the sushi was so good! Singapore's sushi doesn't even come close
Crab salad
Tobiko
Grilled Hotate
Unagi
Grilled Salmon
Fatty Salmon

The night ended with us walking around Shinjuku for the last time. I spent most of the time in the camera shop. It was an early night for both of us cause the next day was time to go home :(

Tokyo Day 5 - Disneyland

We thought Disneyland was opened at 830am so we took the first shuttle to the park. We got there by 8am and realised the park didn't open for another hour and a half! But the entrance was already filled with people waiting to go in.
Walking to the park!

Got our tickets! Jason said "So you take the Snow White and I'll take the little green monster"
LOL.

We decided to sit for an hour so we found a nice little patch under some trees. Jason was playing with the camera and said "I'm gonna take a photo of that bird" After he took this shot, he said, "heyyy, I can't see the bird." LOL too cute la. The bird's that little thing underneath the tree.
my make-shift hat. IT WAS HOT

crazy people waiting an hour to get in.
FINALLY!

Our first stop was to get a fast pass ticket to the Monsters Inc. Ride

We decided to go for a quick go-kart ride before we had brunch so we wouldn't have to wait in line during the lunch time crowd. Jason was all excited until we got to the track and realized it was a kiddy ride!

Then it was lunch!

My mickey nuggets!

Splash mountain.

Pirates of the Carribean

It's a vending machine!! I was so amused

Our no-lunch plan failed. We got hungry so we decided to lunch at Hungry Bear Restaurant. The curry rice was amaazing.

Don't know why he so happy.

Cinderella's castle

Crazy mosaic wall

Notice his sun-burn

Inside the castle

These are made out of paper!!
Some really intricate model
Someone's not happy that he has to be in a girly castle

We decided to stop for tea.. and where better to have tea but in an Alice in Wonderland restaurant?

We actually fell asleep for half an hour!

We didn't know what PhilharMagic was but it was a new attraction so we had to try it.

Turned out, it's a 4D movie!

Wish I could take photos of the movie! It was AMAZING. Much much much better than the Shrek 4D movie at Universal Studios Singapore! The images really come alive! At some point I thought Ariel was swimming right in front of me. I really enjoyed it! And it was in Japanese!
It's a small world!

I wish my room walls were this colorful

They missed out Singapore :(
A real huge cuckoo clock.
Then it was Monsters Inc.! This was a real fun ride! I thought of forgoing the ride cause we had sat the one in LA Disney Adventures but thank goodness we decided to go on it, it was completely different!

We got a flash light each! When you shine your light on the characters, they come alive.

Then it was to Pooh's Hunny Hunt

It was a really fun ride!!

At some point the carriage we were in started bouncing! I don't know how they did it but it was really fun!

Toontown!

I really liked this place when I was little! It was nostalgic going back. Strange cause Toon Town all over the world looks the same!
Donald's House

Goofy's House. We didn't get to go in though :( He was renovating.

Minnie's House
Minnie's mailbox

Rest of Toon Town
He's REALLY on the telephone, scolding our hotel receptionist for making us waste 500Yen on that phone call. She made us wait like 42343208 minutes while she transferred the call to someone else.
Roger Rabbit's Car Town Spin. I remember taking this as a kid!

How cute are these cabs!

Possibly Jason's favorite spot in Disneyland
10/10 on my first try!! WOOHOO ME!
Very strangely, Jason missed 2 shots! But he's a lucky boy and got a gold sheriff pin! He got a perfect score on his 2nd try.

Jason wanted to try this out at the Penny Arcade!
Apparently, he's hot stuff. LOL
And as usual, we had to get a Disney penny! :) We've been collecting them from all the Disneylands we've been to:)
