Carol and I headed to the Savour fair on Friday. It's an outdoor food fair featuring the world's best chefs. The best chef at the fair has 3 michelin stars! The fair closed at 1030pm, we got to the flyer at 930pm. The queue for parking was sooooo long, we parked at Marina Square and ran all the way back but the food was well worth it, despite their portions being tiny and the prices being exorbitant.
$18 for this lamb shank from Saint Pierre. It melts in your mouth though.
Gunther
Black truffle and caviar pasta. $18. It's honestly the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. The flavors in this pasta are unreal.
Wagyu beef carpaccio with crispy potato. $21
We tried to maximize our hour there but that's all we got to try, mainly cause we ended up going to the the super market section of the fair. Ended up buying a lot of French food I don't even eat.
Overall, an interesting experience. I would definitely go again if I didn't have to pay the $66 entrance fee.
