Halloween Nails Tutorial

Halloween is a week away so I decided to paint my nails for the occasion.

I did my left hand first and realized it was so cute, I had to do a tutorial to share the cuteness. (also to show off lah)

The tutorial was done painting with my left hand so it's a little messier

left hand

right hand

What you'll need :

1 Orange nail polish

1 Green nail polish

1 Black nail polish

1 White nail polish

4 toothpicks

Friendly Frankenstein

1. Paint entire nail green

2. Add black nail polish to the tip of your nail. With a toothpick, drag and create his hair. Don't worry about getting messy, I'm pretty sure Frankenstein didn't have time to comb his hair

3. Dip toothpick in black nail polish and create his eye brows.

4. Dip a new toothpick in white nail polish. Make it a rather big blob at the end so it'll be easier to get the round shape. Drop two round white circles right under the eyebrows.

5. While waiting for the eye balls to dry, create Frankenstein's mouth. It's a simple -+-+- underneath the eyes. Dip tooth pick in black nail polish and start drawing.

6. Gently dip toothpick in black nail polish. (you don't want a big blob this time) In the middle of the white eye balls, dot two little black dots to create his pupil.

Ta-dah! Frankenstein!

Spider + Web

1. Paint your entire nail white

2. Make a chicken's claw at the edge of your nail

3. Create the web by drawing connecting lines

3. Dot two circles next to each other (touching) to create the spider's body.

(my hand jerked so there's a little line sticking out from the circle but in this case, it didn't matter)

4. Draw the legs. 4 on each side!

5. Now draw in the web spidey is hanging from.

6. Blob 2 white circles in the middle of the two black circles u previously created. When it's dry, dot two black circles to create it's pupils and you're done!

Evil Pumpkin

1. Paint entire nail orange

1. At the base of your nail(where your cuticles are), draw in the pumpkin's stem(?) in green

2. Draw two triangles for eyes. I make 2 big round dots and shape with a toothpick from there.

3. Now for his toothy grin. If the tooth is too difficult to shape, a normal grin would do.

Ghost

1. Paint entire nail black

2. Create a big white blob towards the top/side of your nail.

3. Using a toothpick(again!) Drag and smudge it towards the other side of your nail

4. Dip toothpick in more white nail polish and start shaping the ghost

4. When you're happy with it's shape, add in black eyes and a mouth. They're just 2 tiny dots for eyes and a slightly bigger dot for a mouth.

5. Dot two little white balls at the side of it's body for his hands and you've got the cutest ghost in the world.
