I think photography isn't just about taking good photos. It's about sharing an experience, a moment in that instant of your life. As people grow older, they start photographing differently, in different perspectives, of different people. It's a very natural process, I think. You see things differently, you shoot them differently.
I was surfing stumbleupon.com a couple of days ago and discovered a photographer - Jamie Livingston. He took a photo everyday for 18 years. He got cancer in 1996/7, so you get to see his perspective of life drastically change. His photos can be seen at http://photooftheday.hughcrawford.com/. It's really amazing to be able to literally see how someone lives and dies.
