So I've been an avid fan of stcom on twitter. It's basically news from the Straits Times in tweet form. I love how summarized the news is. What I hate about it is how they feel a need to post questions Singaporeans ask. I wouldn't mind if they were intellectual questions, but no, Singaporeans HAVE to ask the most idiotic questions.
"Why do private patients get hospital appointments faster?"
Um, seriously, do you even have to ask?! Because they pay more, duh.
He continues to question, "why are hospitals built and maintained with taxes paid by generations of Singaporeans allowed to discriminate against citizens, many of whom qualify for subsidized medical care?"
Because, maybe just maybe, these taxes were paid by the very "rich Singaporeans" he's complaining about. If there's anyone who should be complaining, it should be the people paying high tax rates! Paying for these ungrateful people!
He continues to point out the price difference in hospital consultations. "A private patient has to pay about $70 for consultation whereas a subsidized patient pays only about $25"
What's your point?! That, indeed, private patients are paying a whole lot more than you?! DANM RIGHT THEY ARE, so quit bitching about how much time you have to wait cause you want to pay $25 and be treated like royalty. Don't you know that you can't always have your cake and eat it?! Stop sounding like a spoilt brat and grow up, accept that life's not fair, get a life instead of complaining about how pathetic your life is cause you can't see a doctor cause your hair's all falling out. Maybe if you stopped lamenting over how cruel life is, you'd be a lot less stressed and your hair would magically grow back.
Seriously! Why do some adults insist on acting like children?! Go complain to your mother la, no one else really cares.
